There is more than one way you can determine your correct necklace size.
Before measuring be sure to determine how you want to wear your necklace and with
what article of clothing you want to wear your necklace.
Most babies and toddlers will fall into the necklace guidelines set forth above. Be sure to follow
the Jewelry Safety Guidelines when putting jewelry on babies or toddlers.
Here are two methods for measuring your necklace size.
One Method:
Wrap a measuring tape around the base of the neck and then drape the tape
to the desired spot where you prefer to wear your necklace. The measurement
you get is your preferred necklace size.
Measure multiple spots for different necklace styles.
Another Method:
Wrap a piece of ribbon or yarn around the base of the neck and then drape the tape
to the desired spot where you prefer to wear your necklace. Align the ribbon or yarn
against a ruler to determine the desired necklace size.
